SUR5

In a senior level studio focused on collaboration between design disciplines, we were tasked with creating proposals for urban renewal in several central Columbus neighborhoods. This project became known as the Sustainable Urban Remodel (SUR) 5. In total, he work of five teams was compiled into a book over 200 pages long.

Personally, I worked to tackle the Franklinton district along with two student designers from the Interior Design department. Franklinton is a historic neighborhood that, today, is facing many difficulties. The districts' issues with gentrification, in particular, required us to create our plan with extra care.
